It is the platform converging members of the National Elections Observatory and political parties interested in electoral activities.

        The consultation meeting is intended to help dilute political confrontations. If all truths are brought to the lime light, then a permanent mutual respect between the parties concerned must be established.

        Far from being a restricted circle for the numerous political actors, journalists, political analysts, press men and women of international organizations and the diplomatic corps shall be called upon to keep abreast with the developments.

        According to the calendar, certain individuals might be solicited to present exposées on topical issues, with the intention of throwing more light on some aspects of the electoral law or the difficulties and inconsistencies discovered on the field by NEO members, political  parties or administrative authorities.

        The venue of the consultation meetings are designated following a rotative principle.

•      Establish and uphold permanent contacts between the different actors involved in national political life.

•      Enable NEO give feed back to the reactions of political parties registered during the first meeting and the contact tours.

•      Create a condusive climate for frank dialogue between the different parties.

•      Boost NEO’s direct marketing actions (transparency and proximity etc.)

•      Intensify reflections on topical issues of general interest.

•    Co-opt consultation meetings into the “follow up” vision.
