Members of the National Elections Observatory (NEO) met today with the Secretary General of the Centre Province representing the Governor, S.D.F. Provincial Officials, Divisional Officers and Sub Divisional Officers of the Centre Province.

Since its inception by law n° 2000/016 of December 19, 2000, NEO has taken several discreet steps to settle disputes and organize meetings so as to stabilize the social and political atmosphere and lay down conditions for free and fair elections.     
 
NEO's members hold meetings of their general assembly on a periodic basis and every meeting ends with the publication of an information sheet.
 
 
Since its inception, NEO played a major role in the electoral process and many of its actions are still unknown by the public. This is the process used by NEO to resolve dispute.
